I’ve had a massive wardrobe clear out recently so everything I have left is now something I really love and get plenty of wear out of.
There’s definitely 3 or 4 specific types of outfits I like wearing for different occasions, so I thought I would photograph them for the blog and this is the first one …
I love the contrast of a long, flowing and feminine dress with a tougher looking biker jacket over the top. In the summer months I usually wear something quite colourful, but in the Autumn I love a darker, rich look and preferably lots of texture from beading, embroidery or lace details.
My new dress beautifully feeds my obsession with all things embroidered! I didn’t intentionally buy something that was so Autumn appropriate, but when it arrived and I saw all the ‘leafy’ designs close up I thought it would be a real shame not to show it off somewhere outside amongst the Autumn leaves!
I’m lucky to live right in between open countryside and a lovely spa town, so when I fancy some fresh air on a weekend I have the choice of popping out to either. Cheltenham has some really nice parks and my favourite is in Montpellier where you’ve got all the Georgian buildings and cafe culture vibes right opposite … even though you’re in a town it never gets too busy and you still see lovely big open skies. So that’s where I headed last weekend to take some pics and the weather was glorious.
