I’ve finally admitted I need a proper break (well my body has kind of forced it upon me to be truly honest), so I’m taking a month away from the blog to both work and rest – I have a ton of photos to take, articles to be written for future months, life stuff to make decisions about …. oh and hopefully some sleep to catch up on!
Tired, puffy eyes have been a thing of the norm lately… but the pretty pattern of my fave new top hopefully distracts from that ha!

So life gets a bit blurry at times.
I’ve been running on caffeine for months.
At the same time, I’ve also got really itchy feet too – so hopefully I’ll be dreaming about some of the amazing places I’ve been putting on my travel ‘bucket’ list.
So I need to take some time out to rest and recharge.
Have some quiet and cosy times at home…
… and I’ll be back here in the Autumn with a sexy new blog design, tons of new season fashion – and discussing the ‘power’ of clothes – and I’ve planned some gorgeous interiors stuff too.
Until then, here’s where I’m dreaming of escaping to and why!
Bali – not the beaches where the main package holidays are but right up in the north where all the art is-I’ve actually wanted to go here since I was 18 and I always said it would be the location for my dream honeymoon but that didn’t happen either …. soon Bali….soon! 😉
Australia – I’ve actually been there before and it was one of those places I didn’t think would wow me but I fell in love! It’s such a big place, you just can’t see it all without spending months there so I would love to go back.
Japan – I didn’t ever think this would be one of those places I would particularly fancy going to but I just find the culture fascinating, I think ever since I read the book Memoirs of a Geisha I’ve had a romantic notion of wandering the streets of Kyoto looking at the tea houses.
Galapagos Islands – ANIMALS! That’s it. Pretty much everywhere I want to travel is related to wildlife in one way or another.
Costa Rica – I’ve seen this on television so much and I with love volcanic islands, so to me this place looks a bit like Hawaii which I absolutely loved, but with proper jungle…. and monkeys.
Central Africa – an absolute dream would be to visit the mountain ranges between Uganda, Rwanda and Congo to see the Mountain Gorillas (which this year it was announced have finally risen to a population of over 1000 because of the conservation efforts). I’m lucky to have seen wild orangutans in the jungle and it was so moving, I can’t imagine what it would be like to see a family of these guys.
